When Hurricane Sandy struck, New York City turned to CBT Transit. We've been a trusted partner of the NYC Office of Emergency Management, playing an important role in protecting public health and safety during major disaster response operations.

Our family business has been helping students get to school on time for over 50 years. If you grew up in New York City, your children are riding buses operated by the very same people.
The current leadership team started working for Consolidated Bus 30 years ago. Our hands were busy changing tires and pumping gas then. Now those same hands are running logistics, dispatch, hiring, and operations for one of the largest school bus fleets in the country.
We consider every rider, employee, and community a valuable part of our family. CBT exists to provide safe and reliable transportation services for New York City.
